PAL Vulcan, Alberta November 16, 2020 Cost is $155. This course is required in order to obtain a Non-Restricted Firearms Possession and Acquisition License. You will be introduced to non-restricted firearms (rifles and shotguns) basic firearm safety, ammunition, how to operate a firearm along with safe handling and carrying techniques. Minimum age for the course is 12. The course is eight hours in length and as soon as the course is done, exams will take place. The exam consists of one written and one-on-one practical exam (20 minutes each)

Black Badge Taber, Alberta January 18/19, 2020 Cost is $280 which includes your  your first match fee, books, lunch both days and 2 days of instruction.  To take the course you will need a firearm 9 x 19 or larger, 4 mags (5 preferred), a holster, mag holders, belts, safety glasses, ear protection and 500 rounds of ammunition.  You will be on the range for 2 days about 8 hours or more a day.  There is a 3 hour open book exam before the course. There is a $100 deposit to reserve a spot. This course is limited to 8 people.  Cost is $280

Remeber to bring outdoor gear such as a lawn chair, sunscreen, bug repellant, etc.for outdoor courses.  For indoor courses wear good shoes.
