Training Courses are currently scheduled as follows:

Rpal Course Brooks, Alberta June 11, 2023 Cost is $150. This course is required in order to obtain a Restricted Firearms Possession and Acquisition License. You will be introduced to restricted firearms (pistols and revolvers) basic firearm safety, ammunition, how to operate a firearm along with safe handling and carrying techniques. Minimum age for the course is 18. Youth can take the course but will not certified. The course is six hours in length and as soon as the course is done, exams will take place. The exam consists of one written and one-on-one practical exam (20 minutes each)

This course is limited to 8 people.  Cost is $150.

Black Badge Medicine Hat, Alberta  September 26/27 2023 Cost is $300 which includes your books, lunch both days and 2 days of instruction. To take the course you will need a firearm 9 x 19 or larger, 4 mags (5 preferred), a holster, mag holders, belts, safety glasses, ear protection and 500 rounds of ammunition. You will be on the range for 2 days about 8 hours or more a day. There is a 3 hour open book exam before the course. There is a $100 deposit to reserve a spot. An email money transfer (EMT) is a retail banking service that allows users to transfer funds between personal accounts, using email and their online banking service. December 2, 2023 Cost is $150. This course is required in order to obtain a Non-Restricted Firearms Possession and Acquisition License. You will be introduced to non-restricted firearms (rifles and shotguns) basic firearm safety, ammunition, how to operate a firearm along with safe handling and carrying techniques. Minimum age for the course is 12. The course is eight hours in length and as soon as the course is done, exams will take place. The exam consists of one written and one-on-one practical exam (20 minutes each).  This course is limited to 8 people.  Cost is $150.
